Level 3 builds on the foundation laid in Level 2, this course is designed for students who seek a deeper understanding of the intricate world of chemistry. The course covers the following topics:
• Thermochemistry
• Oxidation-Reduction Processes
• Atomic, Molecular, and Ionic Properties
• Organic Compounds
• Spectroscopy
Subject Overview
Term 1
Spectroscopy and REDOX.
Term 2
Completion of REDOX and Thermochemical Principles.
Term 3
Organic Chemistry.
Term 4
Revision and Exams.
Prerequisites
Students should have passed 12 Level 2 credits in the Level 2 Chemistry course. (Merit in at least one of the externals and successful in the internal standard)
