Year 11 Media Studies

The media is a powerful force in all our lives. Media literacy is vital for learners in the 21st century. Media Studies aims to produce media literate students by exploring how media products are constructed and used by audiences and producers. 

Students will gain knowledge, skills, and experience by exploring a variety of media and media platforms, including social networks, film and the news. 

Students have the opportunity to gain practical experience by creating their own media production in groups.
