Year 12 Physical Education (Level 2)
Subject Description

Year 12 Physical Education will offer students the opportunity to experience and participate in a wide range of physical activities, in a variety of contexts. You will study how the body moves and responds to physical activity, as well as be able to develop your interpersonal skills in a variety of settings.
The main focus of this course is to equip students with the necessary skills to maintain and develop your personal well-being, both now and in the future; as well as prepare you for future academic and vocational opportunities.

Social Responsibility - tennis, methods, and principals of training and social responsibility observes by leaders at camp.
Optional Essay : Importance of Self, Others and Society
(ie Should rugby really be our national sport? Do we really need technology in sport? Are gold medals at the Olympics really worth it? Optional Topic - could be part of Scholarship)
Prerequisites
None but Year 11 Physical Education is an advantage.

Pathway
A physical education student is useful for any career / occupation that involves good interpersonal skills in the fields of education, exercise and sport science, management, and leadership. Some examples are physiotherapy, teaching, sports medicine, sports journalism, personal trainer, sport and exercise physiologist and careers in the armed forces.
