Year 12 Health Education (Level 2)

Who is this course for? 

Students who are interested in future academic and vocational opportunities in the PE and Health sector, with a specific interest in learning about resiliency, discrimination, wellbeing of your community and strategies to assist and over-come these and similar health issues.

Students who take Level 2 Health may have an interest in tertiary studies towards:  Medicine, Nursing, Social work Nutritionist/Food Science, Health promotion, Counselling and Mental Health,  Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Health sciences, Bachelor of Social Work/wellbeing, Bachelor of Psychology (majoring in Mental Health), Bachelor of Science (majoring in Nutrition) Exercise and Health Science and more.  The course is theory based with relevant guest speakers used to inform and assist understanding throughout the year.
